감정지능을 활용한 간호학에서의 내러티브 문학수업

Narrative Literature Class in Nursing Using Emotional Intelligence

급변하는 4차 산업혁명의 도래와 더불어 산업체제 전반이 미래 위기 대응을 위한 전략을 모색하고 있다. 이러한 시대의 흐름과 발맞추어, 간호학계에서도 미래 불확실성에 대처하려는 노력을 하고 있다. 도제방식 중심의 과거의 커리큘럼을 탈피하여 보다 인간적 측면을 강조하는 학문적 개선을 새로이 시도하고 있다. 그러한 측면에서 감정지능은 인간 고유의 정서를 강조하 는 역할로 간호학이 추구하는 돌봄의 본질과 맞닿아 있다. 돌봄의 맥락에서 인간의 생에 대한 총체적이며 연속성 있는 관리와 개개인의 다양한 감정 경험을 학습체계로 구현할 수 있는 방법중에 하나가 바로 문학 수업이다. 내러티브를 통한 문학수업은 일상적인 인간의 삶부터 위기상황의 비 일상성 모두를 아우를 수 있는 간접경험의 산실이다. 이 연구에서는 감정지능을 활용하여 내러티브를 통해 문학수업을 설계하고, 간호학과 학생들 5명을 대상으로 3월에서 5월까지 파일럿 연구를 진행하고 그들의 수업 경험을 통하여 질적 인터뷰와 포커스 인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 이 연구결과 도출된 주제는 ‘간호에 대한 인간다움으로의 인식 변화’였으며 하위 범주로는 ‘간호 대상자에 대한 사람 중심의 인식 변화’와 ‘공감능력이 높아지는 것을 느 낌’, ‘자기 성찰을 통한 깊이 있는 자기이해’, ‘의사소통의 맥락을 깊이 있게 이해함’이었다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 감정의 다양한 활용을 통해 전인간호의 기틀을 마련하고자 한다.

With the rapid changes in the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, the entire industrial system is seeking a strategy to cope with the future crisis. Keeping with these trends, the nursing academy is also making efforts to cope with uncertainty by drawing up various future blueprints to address the concerns over substitution of human labor with robot. As a countermeasure to such problem, attempt for new academic improvement is made to put more emphasis on aspects of humanity by breaking away from the past curriculum that is based on the technical tradition of apprenticeship. Emotional intelligence, which comes from the possibility of being human, also plays a role in emphasizing human emotions, and it is in touch with the nature of caring that nursing is genuinely pursuing. This is one of the ways that we can realize continuous management of human life as a whole and various emotional experiences of individuals in a learning system. Narrative-based literature classes are the result of indirect experiences that can cover both everyday human life and the crisis situations out of the routines. In this study, we designed the literature class, based on the narrative in story, using the emotional intelligence, and conducted the pilot study with 5 students who agreed to the experiment to see if they could use it in the actual nursing studies to check the possibility of literacy classes with their experiences in class.
