隨者網際網路的蓬勃發展,網頁遊戲成為遊戲軟體中受歡迎的產品,由於,製作一個網路遊戲需要很多人力與時間,包括遊戲的企劃、遊戲的分析與設計、遊戲的實作及測試等因素,造成目前的大部份的網頁遊戲都是採單人、單劇情的方式居多,在架構上更新也不容易,所以遊戲發佈後通常也不會再繼續更新,隨著時間自然淘汰。 本研究旨在發展一個多人連線、具互動性、內容無限延伸、可持續更新的網頁遊戲模型,結合資料庫並可整合網站現有資源,提供未來開發網頁遊戲的最佳化的途徑,不僅適合於遊戲產業,也適用於幼教、交友、社群、部落格…等平台,讓網頁遊戲不只是小遊戲,而是扮演一個有趣的網站資訊整合的介面。
With the rapid growth of internet, web games have become very popular among game software products. Production of a web game usually requires enormous input of manpower as well as time; which includes game planning, analysis and designing, programming, and testing. Therefore, most of the existing web games are for single-player, allowing only mono-plot development; moreover, updating the game structure is usually difficult. As a result, these games are rarely updated after they're published; they become obsolete as time goes by. The aim of this study is to develop a web game which is suitable for multi-player, provides great interactivity, allows unlimited extension of the game content, makes game-model updating possible at any time, and can combine database and integrate existing website resources. This new web game offers an optimum route for future web game development. It’s not only suitable for the game industry, but also good to be used as platforms for pre-school education, social networking, and blogging. Web games are no longer just little games; they can function as interesting interfaces integrating website resources.
