Abstract

The morphology of 49 Bulbine species is illustrated including the tubers and leaves. Selected examples of the flowers, tepals, stamens and finally the external surfaces of the bizarre seeds are illustrated. Sizes are given for all illustrations. Some of the more interesting plants are illustrated by colour photographs.
