Since the emerging of traditional and non-traditional security threats after the Cold-War, traditional security studies theories can't fully explicate the essence and contents of national interest and security strategy. Hence, through the ideas of social constructivism-identity define national interest and policy-author like to propose another thinking of Taiwan's security strategy and the assessment of construct a Tamkang School of strategic studies. First of all, Ⅰ explain the concepts and contents of security studies and then Ⅰ examine the traditional security studies theories. Thirdly, Ⅰ analyze the key theories and approach of constructivism and the construction of Taiwan's Dual balance of power strategy. Finally, I suppose under advantage of time and space, it's time for us to build the Tamkang School of Strategic Studies.
