본 연구는 전문대학생이 자신의 진로 행동을 추구하고 준비하기 위해, 필요한 개인 내적·심리 자원에 대한 정보를 제공할 목적으로 전문대학생의 미래지향시간관, 그릿, 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로준비행동과의 관계를 탐색하는 것을 주된 목적으로 하고, 미래지향시간관과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 그릿과 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 2021년 5월 20일부터 6월 3일까지 K지역에 소재한 사립 전문대학생 442명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25를 사용하여 사전기초분석을 시행하였고, Mplus 8.2를 사용하여 구조방정식 모형 검증을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 미래지향시간관, 그릿, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로준비행동은 유의미하게 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 모든 독립변인은 연구에 참여한 전문대학생의 진로준비행동을 정적으로 예측함이 확인되었다. 셋째, 미래지향시간관과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 그릿과 진로결정자기효능감은 부분매개 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 전문대학생의 진로준비행동을 촉진하기 위해 미래목표에 대한 긍정적 지향성뿐만 아니라 개인의 그릿 수준과 진로결정자기효능감이 주된 변인으로 작용함을 확인하였으며 이를 통해 본 연구가 가질 수 있는 의의와 시사점이 논의되었다.
The primary purpose of the current study is to provide theoretical background on the effects of personal internal psychological resources for college students to continuously pursue and prepare for their career behavior. The structural relationship was explored, and the mediating effect of grit and career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between their future time perspective and career preparation behavior was investigated. To do so, an on-line survey was conducted on 442 private college students located in K city from May 20 to June 3, 2021. The collected data were used for preliminary analyses and structural equations modeling through Mplus 8.2 and SPSS 25.0. As the result, first, future time perspective, grit, career decision self-efficacy and career preparation behavior showed significant positive correlations. Second, all the independent variables positively predicted particpants’ career preparation behavior. Finally, it was confirmed that future time perspective can indirectly affect career preparation behavior through grit and career decision-making self-efficacy. These research results show that not only positive orientation toward future goals, but also personal grit level and career decision self-efficacy are important to promote career preparation behavior of junior college students. Based on those results, the theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
