This briefing report synthesis key messages from the Innovate4Cities Conference 2021 according to the themes set out in the Global Research and Action Agenda on Cities and Climate Change Science (GRAA), the key output from the inaugural Cities and Climate Change Science Conference held in Edmonton, Canada in 2018, and the four goals of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (or 'COP26'). The report was produced by a team of 32 students who attended the conference, rapporteured, and synthesised key messages.
