Relative read abundance data for "Molecular analysis of predator scats reveals role of salps in temperate inshore foodwebs" under review in Frontiers in Marine Science (Manuscript ID: 407577). Full methods will be in the published manuscript.

This is the dataset used directly by our R code to analyse the differences in the relative read abundance (a proxy for relative abundance) of different prey taxa in DNA taken from little penguin DNA. This DNA was collected at Phillip Island in southe-eastern Australia under ethics permit No. 2.2014 approved by Phillip Island Nature Parks Animal Ethics Committee number and Research Permit No. 10006148 from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
