이 연구는 2015 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정 중학교 국어 교과서에 사용된 어휘의 빈도를 분석하고 고빈도 어휘, 품사별 분포, 의미영역별 분포를 알아보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기본 교육과정 중학교 국어 교과서에 사용된 개별 어휘는 2,824개이고, 연 어휘는 22,059개이다. 빈도수 21회 이상인 고빈도 어휘는 210개로 12,786회 사용되었으며, 전체 어휘의 57.96%를 차지하고 있다. 둘째, 고빈도 어휘 중 가장 많이 나온 어휘는 ‘하다’(동사)이며, 그 다음으로 ‘있다’(형용사), ‘읽다’(동사), ‘문장’(명사) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개별 어휘의 품사별 분포는 명사가 1,685개(59.65%)로 가장 많고, 그 다음으로 동사 591개(20.92%), 부사 244개(8.64%), 형용사 210개(7.43%), 대명사 29개(1.03%), 감탄사 26개(0.92%), 수사 22개(0.78%), 관형사 17개(0.60%) 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 전체 어휘의 의미영역별 분포는 24개 의미영역 중에서 동작이 6,768개(30.68%)로 가장 많으며, 그 다음으로 기타 2,690개(12.19%), 상태 2,298개(10.42%), 교육 2,190개(9.93%), 사람 1,779(8.06%) 등의 순으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the frequency of vocabulary used in the middle school korean textbooks of the 2015 revised special education basic curriculum and to investigate the distribution of high frequency vocabulary, distribution of parts of speech, distribution of semantic domain. The results of this study are as follows: First, the number of individual vocabulary used in middle school korean textbooks is 2,824, and the total vocabulary is 22,059. The number of high frequency vocabulary is 210, which is used 12,786 times, and it occupies 57.96% of the total vocabulary. Second, the most common vocabulary of high frequency vocabulary is 'do'(verb), followed by 'is'(adjective), 'read'(verb), and 'sentence'(noun). Third, the parts of speech were followed by noun 1,685(59.65%), verb 591(20.92%), adverb 244(8.64%), adjective 210(7.43%), pronoun 29(1.03%), interjection 26(0.92%), numeral 22(0.78%), and determiner 17(0.60%). Fourth, the semantic domain was followed by actions 6,768(30.68%), other 2,690(12.19%), status 2,298(10.42%), education 2,190(9.93%), and people 1,779(8.06%).
