2022년 공공기록물법 시행령 개정으로 국내의 기록관은 인수된 전자기록물 중 보존기간 10년 이상인 전자기록물을 보존포맷으로 변환하여 관리할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 현재 많은 기관에서 전자적으로 생산되고 있는 시청각 기록물의 고유한 특성을 장기적으로 보존, 관리하기 위한 보존포맷 선정기준 수립이 요구되고 있다. 특히 디지털 형태의 소리, 음성 데이터가 담긴 오디오 기록물의 장기 보존에 맞는 보존포맷을 효과적으로 선정하기 위해서는 오디오 기록물의 필수보존속성(Significant Properties)을 사전에 검토해야 한다. 본 논문은 생산 시점부터 디지털 형태로 획득·관리되는 오디오 기록물의 필수보존속성 도출을 목표로 한다.
According to the amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Public Records Act in 2022, archives in Korea can manage acquired electronic records with a retention period of 10 years or more by converting them to a preservation format. Therefore, it is necessary to establish preservation format selection criteria to preserve and manage the unique characteristics of audiovisual records that are currently produced electronically by many organizations in the long term. In particular, in order to effectively select a preservation format suitable for long-term preservation of audio records containing digital sound and voice data, the Significant Properties of audio records must be reviewed in advance. This paper aims to derive the essential preservation properties of audio recordings acquired and managed in digital form from the point of production.
