How do age differences between service staff affect Philanthropic corporate Social responsibility in the Restaurant industry?

The concept of philanthropic corporate social responsibility is very important in managing the business because it enhances a positive image of the business, so this study tried to explore how to increase the perception of philanthropic corporate social responsibility, focusing on hiring seniors in the restaurant industry. More specifically, this study investigated comparisons between the type 1 restaurant (where both people aged over 65 and younger than 65 provide services) and the type 2 restaurant (where only people younger than 65 provide services) in terms of philanthropic corporate social responsibility. The total of 546 completed questionnaires were collected from the restaurant patrons in Korea. The results showed that there were significant statistical differences between the two types of restaurants in the perceptions of philanthropic corporate social responsibility.
