심리상담 중 내담자의 점복 상담 경험을 들은 상담사의 경험에 대한 탐색적 연구

목적 본 연구는 한국 사회는 심리상담이 들어오기 이전부터 소위 ‘점복’이라고 불리는 타로, 사주신, 점 상담이 대중화되어 있다. 점복 문화가 심리상담보다 더 큰 시장으로 존재하는 한국의 독특한 문화적인 배경이 있다. 심리상담 중 내담자의 점복 상담 경험을 들은 상담사의 경험에 대해 탐색해 보고 이를 통해 기초자료를 제공하려 한다. 방법 상담 중 내담자에게 점복 상담 경험을 들은 적이 있는 상담사를 대상으로 총 50명의 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 응답 자료들을 탐색적 연구방법 중 경험자 조사방법과 수정된 합의적 질적연구방법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구자료의 수집 기간은 2021년 10월에서 12월이었으며, 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 상담사가 생각하는 내담자가 점복 상담 경험을 심리상담 중에 말하는 이유, 상담사가 내담자가 점복 상담 경험을 심리상담 중에 말했을 때 보인 반응, 상담사가 생각하는 점복 문화의 장단점 요소, 상담사가 생각하는 내담자의 종교와 점복 상담의 관계, 상담사가 생각하는 심리상담과 점복 상담의 차이점, 상담사가 내담자의 점복 상담 경험을 들은 상담 종결 후 만족도 평가, 상담사로서 점복 상담 경험을 상담하는 내담자에게 고려해야 할 점, 적용한 상담이론과 초심상담사에게 추천하고 싶은 상담이론을 탐색하였다. 결론 연구 결과를 바탕으로 상담사들이 상담 교육 및 실습에서 참고할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하였다.

Objectives Research shows that so-called ‘fortune-telling’, such as tarot, fortune telling, and divine fortune counseling, has been popular in Korean society even before the introduction of psychological counseling. Korea has a unique cultural background where divination culture exists as a larger market than psychological counseling. During psychological counseling, we will explore the experiences of counselors who have heard about clients' fortune- telling experiences and provide basic data through this. Methods A survey was conducted on a total of 50 counselors who had heard about their experiences with divination counseling from clients during counseling. The collected response data were analyzed through an exploratory research method, an experienced survey method, and a modified consensus qualitative research method. The collection period of research data was from October to December 2021, and the collected data was analyzed. Results The counselor's view on why the client talks about his fortune-telling experience during psychological counseling, the counselor's reaction when the client talks about his fortune-telling experience during psychological counseling, the counselor's view on the pros and cons of the fortune-telling culture, and the counselor's view on the client's religion. The relationship between fortune-telling counseling, the differences between psychological counseling and fortune-telling counseling that counselors think of, the evaluation of satisfaction after the counselor listens to the client's fortune-telling counseling experience, things that a counselor should consider when counseling a client about their fortune-telling counseling experience, and applied counseling theory. and explored counseling theories that would be recommended to beginning counselors. Conclusions Based on the research results, basic data that counselors can refer to in counseling education and practice was presented.
