교과교육 학술지 논문의 서론 서술 단계 제안 및 활용 가능성 탐색

“학습자중심교과교육연구”의 최근 과학교육 논문을 대상으로

본 연구에서는 교과교육과 관련있는 논문 작성법 전문 서적을 조사하여 학술지 논문의 서론 서술 단계를 제안하고, 이를 최근에 게재된 과학교육 논문의 서론 분석에 탐색적으로 적용하여 활용 가능성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 국문으 로 쓰인 총 10종의 논문 작성법 서적을 조사하였다. 전문 서적들은 서론 작성을 위해 평균 8.0 단계의 서술 단계를 제안하였으며, 총 14가지 단계를 거론하였다. 특히 대부분의 서적에서 연구 목적, 선행 연구 분석, 필요성 등을 중요한 단계로 언급하였 다. 둘째, 앞서 도출한 서론 서술 단계를 토대로 2016년과 2017년에 “학습자중심교과 교육연구” 학술지에 게재된 과학교육 논문 10편을 탐색적으로 분석한 결과, 해당 논문들은 대체로 9단계를 거쳐 진술되었다. 평균적으로 주제 소개, 주제의 중요성, 이슈 제기, 사실 근거, 선행 연구 분석, 필요성, 방법, 목적, 문제의 순서로 서론 문장이 배치되었다. 선행 연구 분석이 전체 문장의 35.8 %으로 가장 비중이 컸으며, 이어서 주제 및 이슈에 관한 내용이 전체 문장의 25.6 %에 해당하였다. 이러한 결과들을 통하여 서론 서술 단계 모형의 활용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 수행한 서론의 장르 분석 과정 및 결과가 초보 연구자에게 학술지 논문 작성에 관한 안내 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to propose the genre analysis tool for the introduction part of academic papers on subject matter education by investigating the specialized books about how to write a paper and to explore the possiblilty for its application through analyzing the recent academic papers on science education in joural of learner-centered curriculum and instruction. For this, we, firstly, examined 10 kinds of related academic books written in Korean. According to the result, they suggested 8.0 steps generally and 14 steps totally for writing the introduction part. In particular, research purpose, previous research review, and necessity were treated as important steps, mentioned in most books. Secondly, it was discovered that 9 steps were used for composing the introduction part through analyzing 10 science education papers, written in 2016 and 2017 in joural of learner-centered curriculum and instruction, with the proposed tool. The previous research review had the majority portion with 8.8 sentences(35.8 %) among nine ones and introduction research topic and issues were the next, 25.6 %. In average, orders of introduction sentences were as follows: topic introduction, importance of the topic, issues, facts, previous research review, necessity, methods, purpose, and research question. Through this, we could see the possiblilty for its application. Based on these processes and findings, we added educational implications and hope that this genre analysis result will be a kind of guide information for beginner researchers.
