An Exploration of Job Stress Among Academic Heads in Taiwanese Universities
An increasing number of colleges and universities are focusing on general issues, thus presenting teachers with new challenges with regard to both pedagogy and expertise. Pertinent literature was reviewed to establish the research basis on which this study rests. Important theories
were investigated via questionnaires exploring job stress distributed to academic heads at the 29 technological universities in Taiwan. SPSS, including descriptive statistics, t tests, one-way ANOVA, Tukey's posthoc comparison and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used to analyze
the results according to the backgrounds of subjects and their perceptions of job stress.
