본 연구는 산림분야의 산업 및 미래 유망 일자리별 미래 수요를 분석하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 산림산업 특수분류체계를 기반으로 산림분야 일자리 현황 및 미래 유망 일자리를 분석하였고, 산림분야 산업 및 일자리별 시나리오 분석을 실시하여 미래수요를 예측하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 투입재 산업 및 원물생산업은 노동시장 및 기술수요, 사회적 관심과 지위, 정부 및 민간 투자규모, 인력양성지원 시스템 네 영역 모두 인력수요에 부정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 반면, 가공업, 유통업, 소비관련산업, 지원서비스업은 네 영역 모두 대체로 인력수요에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 산림 분야 미래 유망 일자리는 노동시장 및 기술수요, 사회적 관심과 지위, 정부 및 민간 투자규모, 인력양성지원 시스템 네 영역 모두 인력수요에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 산림분야 일자리 확대를 위한 정책 제언을 제시하였다.

This study aims to analyze the future demand for each forest sector industry and promising future jobs in the forest sector. To this end, based on the special classification system of the forest industry, the current forestry jobs and promising jobs were analyzed, and the scenario analysis was conducted to predict future demands. First, labor demands in inputs and raw materials industries may be negatively affected by environmental factors; : labor market and technology demand, social interest and status, government and private investment scale, and human resource development support system. On the other hands, labor demands in the processing, distribution, consumer-related industries and support services industries may be positively affected by all four factors. Second, promising jobs in the forest sector were expected to be affected by all four environmental factors. Based on the results, a policy was proposed to expand jobs in the forest sector.
