본 연구의 목적은 요양시설에 입소한 노인을 대상으로 구강 건강과 삶의 질 사이의 관계를 분석하여 구강 위생 및 관리를 위한 지속적인 교육의 필요성과 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제시하기 위함이다. 향후 국내의 효과적인 기초자료로 활용하기 위하여 2005년부터 2020년까지 등록된 출판 연구를 자료 수집 후 최종 8편의 연구 성과에 대한 분석을 하였다. 최종 선정된 연구가 모두 질적수준 Ⅳ단계(100.0%)이었고, 자료의 수집은 설문조사 7편(72.5%)가 가장 많았다. 주요 결과로 고연령, 낮은 구강상태, 낮은 구강관련 인식도 등에서 삶의질 수준이 낮음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 요양시설 입소 노인의 구강 건강과 삶의 질의 관계 연구동향에 대한 최초의 연구이기 때문에 향후 노인의 삶의 질 향상과 구강 보건 수준 향상을 위한 교육과 정책수립에 대한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between oral health and quality of life for the elderly admitted to nursing homes, and to present the necessity of continuous education for oral hygiene and management and a basic plan for policy establishment. In order to use it as effective basic data in Korea in the future, after collecting data from published studies registered from 2005 to 2020, the results of the final 8 studies were analyzed. All of the final selected studies were in qualitative level Ⅳ (100.0%), and data collection was the most in 7 survey surveys (72.5%). As the main result, it was confirmed that the quality of life was low in the case of high age, low oral condition, and low oral perception. Since this study is the first research trend on the relationship between oral health and quality of life of the elderly in nursing homes, it will be used as basic data for education and policy establishment to improve the quality of life and oral health of the elderly in the future.
