In this study, we propose a novel minimal variance distortionless speech power spectral enhancement algorithm, which is robust to some of the real-world implementation issues. Our proposed method is implemented in the power spectral domain where stochastic noise can be modeled as the exponential distribution, whose non-Gaussianity is explored by order statistics filter. Both theoretical and experimental results shows the effectiveness of our proposed method over traditional ones.
