This study was carried out to propose the concept definition and theoretical systematization of a new genre called 'New Traditional Dance' that has been actively performed since the 2000s. The concept of the concept of a dance is necessary to establish the academic foundation of the dance phenomenon, and systematic theorization can not be achieved without such a concept. In the course of this research, we could find out the following points as a result of the discussions of 'New Traditional Dance' and characteristics of performances.
