Reservoir Characterization and Production Forecasting for Antrim Shale Wells: An Integrated Reservoir Analysis Methodology

This paper presents an integrated reservoir simulation based approach for analyzing production data and forecasting future production for Antrim Shale wells. The practical experience that has been gained through analysis of 40+ projects is presented, including guidelines for estimation of key reservoir properties for use in analysis. Guidelines are presented for conducting Antrim Shale formation evaluation for operators wishing to facilitate accurate reservoir analysis and reserves forecasts.
