Abstract:

Livestock farmers are constrained by many animal health borne problems like food borne diseases, milk and meat borne diseases, pollution of the environment from animal sources and other zoonotic concerns which adversely affect human health which cause morbidity and mortality in people and is also imposing significantly losses to the livestock sector. In developing countries, lack of knowledge about disease burden has been mostly reported to be associated with persistence of zoonotic diseases.
