The role of blood substitute products in restoring physical trauma

Introduction: Blood is an important part of medical care and resuscitation in trauma that if used correctly, can be a life saver. However, blood transfusion and its products are not free of complications and require special attention, especially in times of emergency. Therefore, this study aimed the blood replaced products at reviving of physical trauma in order to reduce the effects of, blood transfusion was performed. Materials and Methods: This study is a review article based on the information, which is published in the internet, journals and associated researches in 2000- 2013. Results: The study shows artificial oxygen carriers like HBOCs and PFBOCs alternative to Pack cell and also use of recombinant coagulation factors VII a or A Protein can be a good alternative platelets with fewer side effects in critical condition. Discussion & Conclusion: Due to complications of blood transfusion in trauma patients should be administered with caution in these patients and should be considered too amount. On the other hand, the lack of blood supply is also another problem that seems designed instruction transfusion in trauma patients and the use of replaced products would be better to take blood and reduce complications in these patients.
