Abstract

This practice-based paper examines work integrated learning in the workplace of schools that is authentic and relevant. It is based upon opportunities created for making a difference in the real world of schools and classrooms. The pre-service teachers are given integrated theory and practice (praxis inquiry) to expand their own practice, skills, and insights. They work in schools and the community to ensure that in developing their own skills; they simultaneously benefit experienced practitioners and students.
