Abstract

This paper discusses the physical, psychological and social needs of international mobility exchange students within the context of university policies and procedures within and between universities for international activity. Student needs are discussed according to activities required at the different stages of pre-exchange, during and re-entry. Activities include student selection, pre-departure briefing and orientation, support during the exchange period and preparation for returning home.
