Abstract

This paper aims to contribute to the renaissance of the general equilibrium analysis applied to history. It discusses Jeffrey Williamson’s seminal contribution in the field of cliometrics giving an explicit indication of all the interdependences and for simultaneously taking into account all the problems separated artificially in analysis of Marshallian partial equilibrium.
