미용학원의 강사역량이 수강생들의 수업만족도 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 미용 교육기관에 재직중인 강사들의 역량에 따라 수강생들이 느끼는 수업 만족도와 진로결정에 대해 알아보고, 미용교육을 통한 진로 성숙도의 구체화 정도를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 광주광역시에 위치한 미용학원 및 직업전문학교에 수강하는 수강생들을 대상으로 2017년 9월 1일부터 2017년 10월 1일까지 총 4주간 진행하였으며, 318부의 설문지를 배부하고 불성실한 설문지 18부를 제외한 총 300부를 연구자료로 사용하였다. 자료분석 방법은 통계처리 SPSS v. 21.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, Cronbach’s α계수산출, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 선형회귀분석, 3단계 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다.
연구의 주요결과는 첫째, 미용학원의 강사역량이 수업만족도와 진로결정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수업만족도는 진로결정에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수업설계 만족도와 수업방식 만족도는 미용학원의 강사역량이 진로결정에 미치는 정(+)의 영향을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
연구 결과를 종합하면 수강생들의 수업만족도와 진로결정에 있어서 강사의 역량이 중요한 역할임을 알 수 있으며, 수업설계나 수업방식의 만족도에 따라 진로를 결정할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 강사역량이 수강생들의 진로결정을 함에 있어 매개변수인 수업설계 만족도와 수업방식 만족도가 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기술과 관련된 수업을 진행함에 있어 강사는 충분한 이론지식과 실기교육을 융합하여 전문적인 교육과정을 수강생들에게 제공해야 할 것이라 생각되며, 수강생들의 특성에 맞게 교육 서비스를 진행하고 직무과목들의 프로그램을 체험하게 하여 수강생 스스로 목표를 가지고 성공적인 진로결정을 할 수 있도록 지속한 관심을 보여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

This study aims to examine the class satisfaction and career decision of students in accordance with competency of teachers who work at beauty school and apprehend the degree of actualization of career maturity through beauty education. This study conducted survey on students from beauty school and vocational training institutes in Gwangju for 4 weeks from September 1 to October 1, 2017. Total 318 copies were distributed and 300 copies were used in study excluding 18 copies with insincere responses. As for the data analysis, the study used SPSS v.21.0 statistical package program to conduct frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach’s α calculation, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, linear regression analysis, and 3-step mediation regression analysis.
As the result, first, the instructor competency of beauty school had positive influence on class satisfaction and career decision. Second, the class satisfaction had positive influence on career decision. Third, satisfaction on class design and teaching method was confirmed to mediate positive influence of instructor competency of beauty school to career decision.
Comprehensively speaking, it was confirmed that instructor competency plays significant role in class satisfaction and career decision of students, and the satisfaction on class design and teaching method can decide career. Also, it was confirmed that mediator variable such as satisfaction on class design and teaching method affects instructor competency on career decision of students. Such result indicates that instructor who conduct class related to technique must provide professional curriculum to students by combining sufficient theoretic knowledge and practices, proceed educational service based on characteristics of students, let students experience job related programs and be consistently concerned about students to let students have their own goal and find successful career path.
