This database includes financial and non-financial assets held by investment funds, insurance companies, pension funds, and other forms of institutional savings. Data are internationally comparable based on the System of National Accounts 2008 (SNA 2008).

Institutional investors' indicators (Edition 2015)

This dataset contains indicators on the financial assets and liabilities of investment funds, insurance corporations and pension funds. The indicators measure the total financial assets and liabilities as percentage of GDP for each type of institutional investor, the portfolio composition by type of investor as percentage of the total financial assets and liabilities, as well as the sector composition of total financial assets and liabilities.
