| Objective | Acquisition over several years of basic information about how the environmental characteristics and plankton characteristics evolve over time in the zone where the Ligurian Sea hydrodynamic front forms. A leg of 3 to 10 nautical miles cutting across the Ligurian current. Sampling stations are distributed so that there are two points in coastal water, two in offshore water and two in the intertidal area of the front's zone. These 6 stations are prospected twice a month. On average, one outing is ensured each month, taking account of the difficulties of working with a 20-m vessel. This cruise went from March 1984 to December 1986. |
