Objective	The CYGOGNE 1 cruise covers two quite distinct programmes: 1) The Danois programme: a study of a margin that has undergone subduction effects. The objectives are the pre-Mesozoic basement, the Mesozoic cover (stratigraphy and structuring) and the observation of phosphorites and polymetallic incrustations. 2) The Cap Ferret programme: detailed study of a submarine detrital fan and associated canyons and channels.
