Objective Cruise included in the seasonal fisheries hydrology programme extending to the continental shelf of the Bay of Biscay and the entrance to the English Channel, to obtain an overview of the thermal situation in this region. The study of temperatures is associated with the study of the quantitative distribution of plankton (in particular sardine eggs) as well as the systematic detection of pelagic fish shoals along the ship's route. Specific research on environmental conditions on the Rochebonne and St-Jean-de-Luz plateaus as part of the study on the possible establishment of the southern lobster (Jasus lalandei).
