본 연구에서는 검찰도서관이 전문자료 수집 및 관리 기능, 검찰 관련 중장기 연구 과제 수행기관 역할 수행을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였으며, 라키비움 공간으로서의 검찰의 대국민 서비스 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구결과로, 라키비움 구축 핵심 전략, 라키비움 구축 프로세스, 라키비움의 대국민 서비스의 기본방향, 라키비움 서비스 방안, 라키비움 전문인력을 제안하였다. 그리고 검찰청연구도서관 라키비움의 비전체계도를 제시하면서, 사명과 비전, 그리고 목표, 검찰청연구도서관 라키비움 서비스 계획의 핵심요소, 검찰청연구도서관 라키비움의 핵심추진과제 및 실행계획 등을 구체적으로 제시하고 있다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 검찰도서관이 수사․형사법 전문 국가대표도서관으로서의 건립 타당성 판단에 활용되고, 건립 기본계획의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, we aimed to explore the ways in which the Prosecution Research Library could effectively perform its functions as a specialized information collection and management entity and play a role as a medium- to long-term research agency for prosecution-related projects, similar to the aforementioned research institutions. We also sought to investigate how the Prosecution Research Library, as a Larchiveum, could provide national public services. Based on the results of our research, we proposed core strategies for building a Larchiveum, the process of its construction, the basic directions for providing national public services as a Larchiveum, the service approaches, and the specialized human resources needed. Additionally, we presented the vision system of the Prosecution Research Library Larchiveum, including its mission, vision, goals, key elements of the service plan, core driving tasks, and implementation plans. The results of this study can be used to assess the feasibility of establishing the Prosecution Research Library as a national representative library specializing in investigative and criminal law and can also provide foundational data for the development of basic plans for its establishment.
