본 연구는 노인의 사회복지서비스 이용 수준이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 우울과 주관적 건강수준의 다중매개 효과를 검증하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국보건사회연구원의 ‘2014 노인실태조사’ 자료를 활용하였다. 만 65세 이상 노인 10,281명을 대상으로 각 변인 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 분석방법으로 SPSS Macro 프로그램을 활용하여 매개효과 및 유의성을 검증한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지서비스 이용 수준이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회복지서비스 이용수준은 우울과 주관적 건강에 각각 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사회복지서비스 이용수준이 높을수록 우울수준이 낮고, 스스로 건강하게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회복지서비스 이용수준과 삶의 만족과의 관계에서 우울과 주관적 건강을 동시적으로 회귀식에 투입하였을 때, 두 변수 모두 유의미한 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인의 삶의 안녕과 만족 향상을 위한 우울과 주관적 건강인식에 대한 실천적 개입방안 및 정책적 함의를 논의하였다.

The aim of this study was investigating This study was conducted to investigate the effects of social welfare services use on life satisfaction, and examining to examine the multiple mediation effects on depression and self-rated health. To achieve accomplish this, the 10,281-elderly data points from ‘The Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Korean Older Persons 2014’ was were used, and analyzed its analyzed to identify mediation effects and significance. Analyses were conducted using with the SPSS macro PROCESS v.2.16 program. In the study results, The results revealed that life satisfaction of study participants was higher for those whose level of use in of social welfare services was high. Next, the use of Moreover, use of social welfare services led was found to have significant effects on each variable, such as (e.g., depression and self-rated health). In detail, Specifically, older persons individuals who used more social welfare services, had a lower level of their depression level was low, and considered themselves as healthy. Finally, in the evaluation of the relationship between social welfare service use and life satisfaction, revealed that both depression and self-rated health played mediator roles had significant mediating effects which earned statistical significance. Based on these results, it was suggested practical and policyies should be developed to address the implications about of depression and health and to promote better life satisfaction of older personsamong elderly.
