Abstract: 【Objective】The aim of the study was to screen the low and high phosphorus-tolerant Camellia oleifera and to reduce phosphorus pollution of the environment.【Method】Min 43,Min 48,Min 60,Zhejiang safflower,CL 21 and FFK 003 of 1 years health grafted Camellia seedlings were selected as experiment materials. The growth and physiological and biochemical parameters under different phosphorus concentrations were determined and responses of varieties preference to phosphorus were compared.【Results】The height and diameter growth of Min 48 and CL 21 was largest when the phosphorus concentration was 0 g/pot. The performance of Zhejiang safflower and CL 21 was the best under the 1.89 g/pot phosphorus treatment. POD activity of Min 48 and CL 21 were higher when the phosphorus concentration was 0 g/pot. Min 48 was lower in MDA content when the phosphorus concentration was 0 g/pot. Zhejiang safflower was lower in MDA content when the phosphorus concentration was 1.89 g/pot. Zhejiang safflower was highest in soluble protein in phosphorus concentration 1.89 g/pot. Soluble sugar content of CL 21 and Zhejiang safflower were higher in phosphorus concentration of 1.89 g/pot.【Conclusion】Min 48 and CL 21 were the low phosphorus-tolerant varieties and were suitable for growing in poor soil phosphorus soils. CL 21 and Zhejiang safflower were high phosphorus stress-resistant variety of Camellia and was suitable for growing in the high phosphorus soils.
