초록

본 논문에서는 정상언어발달과 조음장애를 보이는 아동들의 /u/모음의 오류를 모음음운변동과 포먼트 값을 분석하여 그 결과를 비교함으로써 두 분석방법의 특징을 비교분석해 보았다. 연구결과에　따르면 모음오류를 분석함에 있어 조음음성학적인 분석방법인 모음음운변동분석 결과 가장 빈번히 나타난 /u/모음의 전설화 현상이, 음향음성학적 분석방법인 포먼트 값의 분석 결과 높은 F2값으로 나타남으로써, 모음오류를 모음음운변동을 이용하여 분석하는 방법의 객관성을 입증할 수 있었다. 또한 두 아동그룹의 정조음과 오조음 된 /u/모음의 포먼트 값의 범위를 비교해 보았을 때 음운변동분석으로만 으로는 알 수 없는 두 아동그룹의 모음 조음상의 특성을 알 수 있었다.
