This study introduces the Deenz Body Dysmorphic Scale (DBDS-20), a novel instrument designed to assess body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) traits among college students. Through rigorous psychometric evaluation, the DBDS-20 demonstrates high reliability, validity, and multidimensionality. In a sample of 109 college students (64 female, 36 male), the scale exhibits strong internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.89) and significant correlations with established measures of body image dissatisfaction and psychological distress. The DBDS-20 represents a valuable tool for identifying and addressing BDD traits in college student populations.
