2020 marks two significant milestones for the United States democracy. August 18, 2020 commemorated the the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, allowing American women the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, including the right to vote. In November, a presidential election will be held amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic.
