Abstract: Objective To observe the efficacy on IgA nephropathy treated with Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and Telmisartan in the middle and aged patients. Methods Sixty cases of IgA nephropathy, aged from 40 to 65 years were randomized into a treatment group and a control group. In the control group,Telmisartan Tablets were prescribed. In the treatment group,Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and Telmisartan Tablets were used in combination. The medication lasted for 12 weeks continuously in the two groups. The levels of U- TP /24 h,Cyst C,Alb,Scr,BUN,ALT,AST and K were determined before and after treatment. The efficacy of reducing urine protein was evaluated and the adverse reactions were observed in the two groups. Results After treatment,in comparison between the treatment group and the control group,U- TP /24 h and Cyst C were reduced apparently, indicating the significant difference(P < 0. 05). The differences in Alb,Scr,BUN,ALT,AST and K were not significant between the two groups( P > 0. 05). Conclusion The allied medication of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and Telmisartan Tablets obviously reduces urine protein and Cyst C level and has no apparent adverse reactions in the treatment of IgA nephropathy.
