Control of SARS-CoV-2 infection after Spike DNA or Spike DNA+Protein co-immunization in rhesus macaques

Fig 5

Post-challenge immune responses.

(A, B) Anti-Spike antibodies measured by ELISA (reciprocal endpoint titer, log) in the (A) control animals over the course of infection up to day 10, and (B) in the vaccinees at -day 21 (2 weeks after the last vaccination) and -day 7 (4 weeks after the last vaccination) before challenge and days 2, 4, 8, and 10 after challenge. (C, D) Antigen-specific memory T cell responses were monitored from 2 weeks after the last vaccination to 10 days after infection showing (C) % of Spike-specific total IFN-γ+ memory T cells and (D) Spike-specific Ki67+ IFN-γ+ memory CD4+ T cells, shown as % of the antigen-specific total memory CD4+ T cell subset.
