(A) The strong correlation between Tn-Seq fitness (WTn-Seq) and fitness calculated from individual mutant growth curves or 1x1 competitions from both T4 and 19F mutants (W1x1; n = 65, shown are average ± SEM) emphasizes that the strain-dependent sensitivity profiles are composed of high-confidence Tn-Seq data. (B) No significant differences were found between Tn-Seq fitness and 34 deletion mutants that were individually verified in the presence or absence of daptomycin (65 genotype phenotype relationships; Table 1).
