The specific surface area of each electrospun fiber type was quantified via nitrogen gas physisorption. Statistical significance, determined by ANOVA and post-hoc Student’s t-test, is denoted by *(p<0.05). (Each type of electrospun fiber was analyzed in triplicate (N = 3), data are presented as mean ± standard deviation).
