Salmon Carcass Categorization.

We categorized carcasses based on the type of consumption observed: (A) braincase; (B) bite holes; (C) mandible; (D) margins of torn skin; (E) exposed muscle tissue; (F) gill plates. A wide range of carcass types produced bear DNA that amplified successfully; saliva samples from each of the carcasses pictured were successfully genotyped to individual.
