* Over the first year after therapy, the serological cure rate increased over the first 6 months; for 6–12 months after treatment, the serological cure rate exhibited only a slight increase, and there were no significant differences in the serological cure rate from 6 to 12 months (X2 = 0.724, P = 0.868).
