Neutralizing activity of 432–443 epitope-reactive antibodies can be partially inhibited.

Exogenous peptide in the presence of sera at a dilution resulting in approximately 50% inhibition of HCVpp infection (dilutions varied between 1∶50 and 1∶600) was used to test inhibition of genotype 1a HCVpp (A), genotype 1b HCVpp (B), genotype 2a HCVpp(C) and genotype 4 HCVpp (D). Shaded bars and filled bars represent control peptide and peptide 432–443, respectively.
