(A–D) Production of cytokines and ROS in HA-overexpressing SMCs. VSMCs were prepared from cHAS2, CreSM22α, or cHAS2/CreSM22α mice. Cells were cultured for 24 h, and the levels of IL-6 (A), MCP-1 (B), and d-ROMs (C) in the supernatants were assessed. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 10 for each, *p<0.001).
