Junctional Adhesion Molecule (JAM)-C Deficient C57BL/6 Mice Develop a Severe Hydrocephalus

Figure 8

Endothelial re-expression of JAM-C does not rescue the hydrocephalus of JAM-C−/− C57BL/6 mice.

38 JAM-C−/− C57BL/6 mice (21 females and 17 males) and 40 JAM-C−/−//Tie-2 JAM-C C57BL/6 mice (25 females and 15 males) were analyzed for hydrocephalus development. In comparison to JAM-C−/− C57BL/6 mice no major difference in the hydrocephalus incidence could be observed when the expression of endothelial JAM-C was rescued in JAM-C−/− C57BL/6 littermates.
