Invasion and intracellular survival of the ΔphoX mutant in INT407 cells.

The ΔphoX mutant displays decrease in invasion (a) and intracellular survival (b) in INT407 human intestinal epithelial cells. Similarly, the ΔtatC mutant is also significantly deficient in invasion as well as intracellular survival in the INT 407 cells. The data represents the average of 3 experiments with 2 replicates in each experiment. Detection limit is represented by a dotted line. * P≤0.05.
