Arrows highlight regions lacking presynaptic terminals represented by SNB-1::GFP puncta. Arrowheads note abnormal aggregation of presynaptic terminals. Scale bar is 10 µm. (B) Quantitation of the average number of SNB-1::GFP puncta per 100 µm of dorsal cord for the indicated genotypes. Analysis was done on young adults grown at 25°C. Significance was determined using an unpaired Student's t test; error bars represent the standard error of the mean. ***P<0.001, ns = not significant.
