Blue light emission via harmonic generation by stimulated Raman scattering in a silica toroid microcavity

Abstract

We experimentally investigate blue light emission in a silica toroid microcavity. We show the blue light as the harmonic generation from anti-Stokes light of higher order stimulated Raman scattering.
