Christopher B. Barnett received his Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from the University of Oxford. In addition to several articles and book chapters, he has published two books: Kierkegaard, Pietism and Holiness (Ashgate, 2011) and From Despair to Faith: The Spirituality of Søren Kierkegaard (Fortress, 2014). His next major project is Theology and the Films of Terrence Malick (coedited with Clark J. Elliston, Routledge, 2016). Joseph Bathanti is former Poet Laureate of North Carolina (2012–14) and currently teaches at Appalachian State University. He is author of eight books of poetry, three novels, and a book of stories.
