Abstract
Describing and interrogating a performing arts programme at the Victoria Youth Custody Services Centre, KRISTA HAGSTROM, ALLANA C. LINDGREN, and WARWICK DOBSON consider how such projects complicate binary responses—requiring open yet cautious responses. While carefully weighing the successes and failures of such projects, the authors urge a stronger "alliance between the Canadian justice system and the arts."
