An Empirical Study on Impact of Trade Facilitation on the Trade between China and ASEAN Member CountriesChinese Full Text

Abstract: This paper measures the trade facilitation by four important indicators: port efficiency,customs environment,domestic regulatory environment and electronic-business.We analyze the impact of trade facilitation on trade flows between China and ASEAN in a gravity model.In the same model,it also estimates the trade flow effect of enhancing the trade facilitation under different tariff rate among the above-mention countries.Finally,based on the empirical results,the paper puts forward some feasible suggestions to the reform of trade facilitation.
