Abstract: China takes the first place in the world in using chemical pesticides,which have played an important role in ensuring food production. However,the use of chemical pesticides have brought environment pollution and ecological damage. This paper summarized the pollution characteristics in different environment medium(e. g. atmosphere,soil and water) and in crops and non-target living creatures brought by pesticides usage,and analyzed the major factors of pesticide usage causing environmental pollution. Finally,this paper put forward some suggestions for environment pollution prevention measure of pesticides usage from different aspects, including definiting management responsibility,completing management system,upgrading monitoring ability,extending technology and researching remediation technology,so as to provide references for environment safety management of pesticides in China.
